I’m With Coco: Conan O’Brien’s fans rally

Fans turned out in droves to support Conan O’Brien today in Universal City, California. Standing in the heavy rain for hours, hundreds of fans carried “I’m With Coco” posters created by artist Mike Mitchell. Conan made a dash down Lankershim Boulevard with loyalists chasing after him. The crowd completely blocked Gate #2 of Universal Studios as O’Brien ran inside. He returned on a nearby rooftop to thank the crowd, along with Andy Richter, Max Weinberg, and trombonist LaBamba.

Michael C. Hall is winning the battle with cancer

Michael C. Hall announced that he is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer. Thankfully, the cancer is in remission. We wish Michael C. Hall a continued healthy recovery and are relieved to see him in good spirits in these new photos.

Michael and his wife (Dexter co-star) Jennifer Carpenter enjoyed a leisurely brunch at a bakery, went to a nail salon and stopped for groceries on Friday.

Tonight, Michael C. Hall is attending the Golden Globe Awards where he’s nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama. Dexter is also nominated for Best Television Series – Drama and co-star John Lithgow is nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Good luck to all the talented people behind one of the best shows on television! UPDATE 5:45 PM: Congratulations to Michael C. Hall and John Lithgow!

President Barack Obama was photographed in his last round of golf for 2009 in beautiful Kailua, Hawaii.

Obama joined his friends at the Mid-Pacific Country Club following a private morning screening of “Avatar” with his daughters Malia and Sasha.

Obama arrives at Hanauma Bay

Barack Obama was spotted arriving in his motorcade at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve this afternoon.

The President and his family arrived at the popular snorkeling destination at 12:20pm.

Because Hanauma Bay is closed to the public on Tuesdays, the First Family enjoyed their picnic and snorkeling in seclusion.

We hope the President and family are enjoying a restful stay in Hawaii, but we would love to spot them out together in public!

Michelle Obama outside Hawaiian vacation home

Michelle Obama made a brief appearance outside her Kailua beachfront vacation home on December 26th. The First Lady wore casual clothes as she stepped outside near Kailua Beach.

Although we haven’t seen President Barack Obama’s buff body beachside since last year’s trip, he’s made two statements to the press regarding air travel safety since arriving on Oahu, Hawaii on December 24th.

Obama’s No-Surf Zone

A wayward surfer was warned this afternoon to move away from Barack Obama’s vacation rental home in Kailua, Hawaii.

The U.S. Coast Guard intercepted the surfer as he paddled a little too close to the Presidential “hale“. One of the Presidential perks is having a branch of the Armed Forces act as “da hui” to patrol your waves!

The surfer got off with a warning and a point in the right direction. However, the Coast Guard is enforcing a security zone on Kailua Bay to protect the President and his family. The penalties are severe; up to 10 years in prison and fines up to $25,000.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, or Taylor², leave the set of Valentine’s Day on December 3rd.

Lautner drove Swift-ly away in a Porsche 911 Turbo. Do you believe these two are actually a couple or do they only cruise around together when they need publicity? Their previous jaunt (in another flashy car) conveniently coincided with Taylor’s new album release. This appearance was just before Swift’s performance at KISS FM’s Jingle Ball and a week before Lautner’s Saturday Night Live scheduled appearance.

LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal was a hotspot for celebrity sightings after Thanksgiving weekend. Within the course of three hours, Britney Spears flew back from Australia, Rihanna arrived, and Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom returned from a trip to Morocco.

What did they have in common? A hefty police presence to give them VIP treatment (in addition to their their private bodyguards) and a crush of paparazzi vying to get the best shots. Here are our photos from November 30th.
